The GaN Marathon...

The GaN Marathon is a biannual workshop conceived in 2016 by Enrico Zanoni with a clear mission: to unite leading researchers and innovators in the field of Gallium Nitride (GaN) technologies and applications. From microwave and millimeter-wave systems to 5G communications, power conversion, and optoelectronics, the conference serves as a platform to push the boundaries of human knowledge in this rapidly evolving domain.

Since its inception, the ACME Research Group has been deeply committed to organizing the GaN Marathon, relying largely on the dedication of its own members. Professors, researchers, and Ph.D. students are directly involved in every stage of the event’s planning and execution, ensuring a conference shaped by and for the scientific community.

Over the course of the workshop, keynote speakers, invited experts, and registered participants from all over the world present their latest findings through talks and dedicated poster sessions, fostering a rich exchange of ideas in both formal and informal settings. Between sessions, coffee breaks encourage networking and spontaneous discussions, while the gala dinner—an established tradition—offers the chance to strengthen professional connections and savor the flavors of the host city.
